Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

  • All reservations require full payment when the booking is made. We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to arrive within 30 days that has an outstanding balance.
  • On arrival we require a valid payment card to be kept on file for any additional charges incurred throughout your stay.
  • Payment details will be kept securely on file 14 days after the original departure date of the reservation unless a future reservation with the same Guest Profile exists.
  • Any extra guests must be paid for upon arrival.
  • Guests and site holders must not use the Park or any site address for electoral enrolment, driver licence registration, banking, government benefits, taxation, school enrolment, or any other purpose indicating permanent residence.
  • Any handling of mail or parcels by Park Management is provided as a convenience only and does not indicate or create any right of residence.
  • Cancellations outside of the below date ranges will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee, or you may choose to hold the full payment as a credit for a future booking. Cancellation within the following date ranges will result in forfeiture of the total payment. Off-peak seasons: 7 days prior to arrival. Peak and shoulder seasons: 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Peak seasons are Summer school holidays, Easter weekend and local or special events. Winter peak for cabins only extends from June school holidays through to end of August.

Shoulder seasons are any long weekends, and school holidays. Off-peak season is other periods outside peak or shoulder season.

  • Seasonal campaigns may be promoted with a non-refundable cancellation policy. Where applicable this will be clearly displayed in the rate details during the booking process.
  • We do not refund for early departures, Covid or weather-related cancellations.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking, and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability. If there is an early departure prior, or late arrival to the reserved date, no refund will be made.

Park Rules

  • All guests must register at reception and not occupy any site until they have been signed in
  • Check in time is 2:00pm
  • Check out time is on or before 10:00am. Site must be vacated by this time, or further charges may be applied.
  • Early Check-In Time and Extended Check-Out Time may be arranged with prior notice; however, this is subject to availability. (Fees may apply.)
  • Minimum age for check—in is 18
  • Late Arrivals: Where your expected arrival time is after 6.00pm, please contact our Reception Staff.
  • Walk-ins after 6:00pm will not be accepted unless pre-arranged with Management.
  • Speed limit is 15km (equivalent to a fast walk). Pedestrians have right of way at all times
  • The controlled use of skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, bicycles is permitted obeying speed limits requiring helmets to be worn at all times in our park.
  • The use of all park facilities by children under the age of 12 must be under adult supervision.
  • Children over the age of 6 should use gender appropriate toilets.
  • Maximum length of stay per booking is 50 days only under an agreed Long Stay or Temporary Living Place Agreement.
  • If this period is exceeded, or if occupation continues following termination or expiry of the applicable agreement, such occupation is unauthorised and may result in immediate eviction without notice. Long Stay and Temporary Living Place occupation is provided under a licence arrangement only and is temporary in nature.
  • Such occupation does not create a tenancy, lease, residential occupation right, or interest in land, and does not grant exclusive possession of any site.
  • Guests and site holders must not treat the Park or any site as a permanent or residential address.
  • Please restrict noise from radios, televisions, and social gatherings. No excessive noise between 9.00pm and 7.00am.
  • The guest’s name on receipt and/or on register is responsible for ensuring all people in their group staying or visiting the

Park complies with these Park Rules and is responsible for the conduct of all guests associated with the booking.

  • All visitors must report to the office on arrival and vacate the Park by 9pm. No visitor may stay over-night without the consent of The Management. Visitors are not allowed the vehicle inside the park unless approved by The Management. Visitors staying over-night will be charged park rates.
  • Please keep your site and other park facilities you use clean & tidy. Rubbish and recycling bins as well as wastewater drain and clothes drying area are positioned throughout the park for your convenience
  • Fires are not permitted in the park
  • Pets are permitted on site bookings by prior arrangement only (not in accommodation or Long Stay), see conditions below.

Pet Conditions

Pets are welcome at Mawley Holiday Park, as we understand that pets love to go on holidays too! To ensure that you enjoy your stay with all our other guests, we must ensure that all Pet owners take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests when on the property.

Park Management reserves the right to disallow any pet at the holiday park that they deem not appropriate to stay at the park and must be notified at the time of booking if you wish to bring your pet.

Please read the information below to ensure you and your pet can meet the following conditions.

  • Under no circumstances are pets permitted in accommodation, long stay the amenity blocks or camp kitchen
  • Pets are permitted on sites if arrangements have been made in advance
  • Pets are not permitted in non-designated pet cabins or glamping tents
  • Cats are not permitted to roam freely at any time.
  • Dogs are only allowed to enter the property of other guests if prior consent is given.
  • At all times, dogs are to be kept on a leash.
  • Dogs are to microchipped and registered
  • Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended within the park.
  • No barking or yapping allowed.

As the owner of the pet, you are responsible for:

  • The cleaning up after your Pet which also includes toilet duties.
  • All or any claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your Pet’s behaviour whilst anywhere in the park.

Any breach of the above conditions could result in early departure and forfeiture of refund.

Zero tolerance rules

Failure to abide by the rules may result in your stay with us being terminated. NO second chances, NO warnings, just immediate eviction from the Park with no refund given. For the avoidance of doubt, the zero-tolerance rules are deemed serious breaches and may result in immediate termination and eviction without warning or refund, regardless of any general warning process that may apply to other, non-serious breaches. These include:

  • Displaying gang patches, colours or any gang-related insignia
  • Aggressive or anti-social behaviour towards other guests or staff
  • Stealing from other guests staying at the Park
  • Abusive language and swearing
  • Undue noise and behaviour after 9:00pm
  • Excessive drinking of alcohol or use of drugs
  • Not accepting instructions from Park Management and /or Security
  • Damage of kind to Park property and facilities
  • Larger gatherings greater than site capacity (including parties) are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with Park Management
  • No solid fuel barbeques allowed. Accelerants are not to be used in ANY circumstances
  • Non-payment of park fees

Upon termination, all occupants must immediately vacate the site and the Park. Any continued occupation constitutes unauthorised occupation and may be treated as trespass.

Site Bookings and Usage

Each site has the capacity to accommodate either:

  • One caravan/motorhome and awning and one vehicle, or
  • One family tent and one vehicle.

There are to be no extra tents on sites with caravans/motorhomes, awnings, or additional vehicles.

  • No permanent or semi‑permanent fixtures, structures or improvements are to be erected on any site, including but not limited to decking, skirting, fencing, hard‑standing, garden beds or storage structures, unless expressly approved in writing by Park Management.Base rate covers 2 people; additional fees are applicable for additional guests.
  • Please note specific sites or cabin number, cannot be guaranteed.
  • There is no capacity for cots or extra beds in any accommodation.
  • Cabins with Bunk Beds. “Warning – due to the statistical chance of significant injury children under the age of 9 years are

not permitted to use the top bunk; children must not play on top bunk.” (Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003)

  • All park owned accommodation units’ amenities, kitchen, Laundry and barbecue area are strictly NON-SMOKING. Smoking allowed only outside in designated areas. Please discard cigarette butts in the containers provided. A cleaning fee will apply if smoking has occurred in the rooms. Fees includes cleaning and loss of income while airing.
  • Cabins must be left in a tidy state with all dishes washed and put away and rubbish placed in the bins provided throughout the park. If the cabin is found to be left in an unacceptable state an additional cleaning fee may be charged at the rate of reasonable labour and recovery.
  • Food stored in shared areas must be clearly labelled with name and departure date. Food left in fridges and freezers is left at your own risk. Park management take no responsibility for lost food.
  • All Caravans or Motorhomes must have a current electrical warrant of fitness and comply with NZS3001:2008 and LPG Standard (NZS 5428:2006) .
  • Electricity can only be connected through an approved transformer or RCD safety switch lead.
  • Chemical toilets must be emptied in the (nearest) Dump Station.
  • Trees around the park are inspected regularly, however trees and branches may still fall from time to time. Persons entering the park do so at their own risk. No responsibility will be accepted for personal, or property damage caused by falling trees or branches.

Lost Property

We will hold onto any lost property for 30 days and make efforts to contact the guest to return the item(s) at guest cost. If the guest does not claim the property within 30 days, the property will be disposed or donated. We will document any lost property found and the actions taken, such as efforts made to contact the guest and the final disposition of the property.

Damage to the Park

B Leisure International (NZ) Ltd will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of any guest’s property. Belgravia Pro reserves the right to charge guest(s) for all damages and breakages to park property, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning, and unpaid expenses, including damage caused by their children and visitors. The guest agrees to have the Mawley Holiday Park charge the presented card on file in the event the guest fails to pay any charges.

Damage & Personal Injury

Disclaimer. To the extent permitted by law, the Park and B Leisure International (NZ) Ltd excludes any liability to the Guest Booking Agreement, tort, statute or in any other way for any injury, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, any liability for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage), sustained by the Guest and/or any other person, or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by the Member, arising from or in connection with the Booking Contract and/or the services/products provided by the Park and/or B Leisure International (NZ) Ltd, and/or any act or omission of the Park and/or B Leisure International (NZ) Ltd.

Breach of Park Rules and Terms & Conditions

Any breach of these Terms & Conditions or Park Rules constitutes a breach of the conditions of entry and occupation. Park Management may, acting reasonably:

  • issue a warning and require the breach to be remedied within a specified timeframe; or
  • immediately terminate a Guest’s or occupant’s stay without warning where the breach is serious, involves safety, security, nuisance, regulatory non-compliance, or falls within the zero-tolerance rules below.

Repeated or unremedied breaches may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund.

This park is managed by B Leisure International (NZ) Ltd of the Belgravia Group and adheres to the Belgravia Group Privacy Policy including communication and marketing, which can be accessed in full here.
